Introduction
Jharkhand is situated on the Chotanagpur Plateau and is one of the three new states created in India in 2000. The state is known for its diverse wildlife, ebullient waterfalls, flora, fauna and amazing national parks. Jharkhand is an extremely mineral-rich state that has the potential to become the economic powerhouse of India. By Air: The state has a domestic airport in Ranchi, which is well-connected with Patna, Kolkata, New Delhi and Mumbai.
I SB By Rail: The main Railway Station in the state is located in Ranchi. Regular trains operated by the South Eastern Railways connect it to other major cities like Patna, Rourkela. Another important railway station is Hazaribagh.
By Road: Ranchi is located at the junction of National Highways 23 and 33. An extensive road network is under construction to facilitate road transport and make the state easily accessible from any corner of the country.
