Situated above the left bank of Satluj, a little away from the confluence ofthe Tirang and 39 km away from the Kalpa, the access to this village is through an apricot orchard. There is an old fort, believed to have been built by the Pandavas, with a square structure situated on a knoll overlooking the Satluj. Its main gate is reached through a detachable ladder. The local deity is Urming and there are three structures dedicated to the deity at Thwaring, Garmang and Shilling
